The new airport-searchable, carrier-ready launcher is available
FlightGear Mac OS X 0.9.10 has become more powerful. It looks the same, but it isn’t actually. This airport-searchable, aircraft-carrier-ready launcher will give you much more fun while flying with FlightGear.
Using a new "Position" tab, you can search airports or carriers by name, location, country, and IATA code (like SFO, LAX, and HND if available). Flying from carrier doesn’t require any additional command-line options any more. Just select a carrier by searching it with "carrier" at the position tab, and you will be on the carrier.
Thanks to the new launcher, you don't have to re-launch FlightGear Mac OS X every time you want to select a different aircraft. The launcher is still there for you so you can select a different airport / aircraft and fly again.
The new launcher is more stable, and more feature-capable. See "ReadMe" inside the package for more detailed information. The updater for this new launcher is available at the Downloads page. Download FlightGear-0.9.10-r114-launcher.dmg and install it.
Have an exciting flight and happy holidays.
