Learning how to land on Nimitz

I've started the tutorial for A6M2. It includes "carrier take-off," "carrier landing," "straight-in landing, " and "Flying the pattern." You can download A6M2 with tutorial here. This aircraft is for 0.9.10.

If you think it is a bit hard to land on Nimitz with the tutorial, you can also download the glide path for Nimitz. Untar it at the $FGROOT directory. You can enable/disable the glide path from the menu ATC > Options.

Note

There are some restrictions in use of this tutorial:

  • You need to start the engine before entering "Take off carrier."
  • Do not specify --carrier=Nimitz in the fgfs parameters
